Commonmade is an independent design practice based in the UK founded by Stephen Chan.

At the core of the practice lies the focus in crafting functional pieces that can be held, used and become deeply familiar to us. We imbue care and detail in hopes our pieces bring sensibility, comfort and enrichment to everyday living.

Our work reflects the fluidity and motion of everyday life with direct and balanced aesthetics, creating pieces that are structured yet relaxed, pure and purposeful.

All pieces are hand-finished, assembled, and packed in our studio in Bristol.
